The New York Auto Show felt decidedly quiet this year, especially in light of the multiple stunners we saw in Geneva. Automakers stayed safe, opting for grounded offerings centered around practical luxury: Lightweight sedans and efficient crossovers dominated the stands. But we found a few standouts. McLaren showed its daily-driver 570S stunner, while Lincoln debuted its futuristic new Continental Concept. And Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover lead the pack of multiple blinged-out SUVs: they each offered models that cost more than $200,000. The show runs till April 12 in Manhattan.

Cadillac CT6
The new Cadillac flagship has surround video capabilities and third-generation night vision in its progressive technology package. Its new aluminum skeleton makes it 53 pounds lighter than its predecessor, even though it’s 8 inches longer.

Honda Civic Concept
The new edition of the Civic will come in optional turbocharged, performance, and sportback editions—and was a surprise debut at the show this year. It has a longer hood, wider stance, and more-aggressive front grille than its predecessor.

Jaguar XF
This is the car Jaguar developed to go up against the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E Class. It comes with a 340hp or 380hp V6 engine and an efficient eight-speed automatic transmission.

Land Rover Range Rover SVAutobiography
The $200,000 V8 SUV is the most expensive Range Rover to date, with a 5.0-liter V8 engine and plush creature comforts inside like a built-in cooler and mohair carpeting.

Lamborghini Aventador
This V12 isn’t a new model from the Italian marque, but it’s still popular on the show floor. And it is the sister car to the $400,000-plus, white-black-and-red Aventador Pirelli edition Lamborghini unveiled at a private event April 1 (no foolin’) in New York.

Mercedes GLE
The four-door “sports coupe” is due out this summer. It has a 362-hp biturbo V6 engine and five drive settings for perfect adjustment under any conditions.

McLaren 570S
The $180,000 sports car is geared towards the daily driver and is the least expensive McLaren to date. It has a 562hp turbocharged V8 engine and weighs less than 2,900 pounds.

BMW X6M
The $103,000 “sports coupe” is the sportiest crossover BMW makes. It packs nearly 600hp on a eight-speed automatic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

Lexus RX
The new version of the 26-year-old iconic crossover comes with a V6 or a hybrid engine. Standard versions will come with 300 horsepower.

Bugatti Veyron
The $1 million coupe is a mid-engined V16 stunner developed by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France. It can go more than 250 mph.

… and inside. In fact, Lincoln earned more than 50 patents on this car with technological improvements like electromagnetic glass and lightweight composite materials.

The $400,000 track monster packs 600 horsepower and a top speed of more than 200 miles per hour. Ford says it’ll be ready by 2017.

The $218,000 G-Wagon has a twin-turbo V12 engine—and is the closest competitor to the Range Rover SV Autobiography Land Rover debuted as well.
