Luis Coronel, Kevin Ortiz and More to Participate in ‘Mexican Millennials’ Panel at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Conference

Luis Coronel, Kevin Ortiz, Jorge Valenzuela, Remmy Valenzuela and Eden Muñoz of Calibre 50 to Speak

Three out of the four finalists in the new artist of the year category for the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards are regional Mexican acts.

This is no anomaly. Regional Mexican in all its forms has long been the leading genre of Latin music in the U.S. and new acts are constantly popping up in the charts. Some of the top names in this new crop of acts will take the stage at the 2015 Billboard Latin Conference as part of the new “Mexican Millennials” panel on April 29 at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach. Kevin Ortiz, Luis Coronel, Jorge Valenzuela, Remmy Valenzuela (no relation) and Eden Muñoz of Calibre 50 will all speak at what is one of the first panels of its kind.
